Iranian short ‘It Rains for You’ to vie in Italy

Iranian short film ‘It Rains for You’ is to compete at Int’l Florence Film Festival in Italy.

Directed by Mohammad-Mehdi Delkhasteh, the short film ‘It Rains for You’ has been selected to vie at Florence Film Festival in Italy.

This is the third presence of the short at international festivals. The 2019 edition of the YVE International Film Festival in China has previously screened the short.

The short’s synopsis reads “the yellow leaves do not fall because of autumn; you are supposed to pass this alley, so they want to carpet your path … Sparrows do not sing out of habit, they are training to sing to welcome you”.

Florence Film Festival is a monthly international film fest which aims to promote films and filmmakers’ career.

The jury panel awards the winners after the private screening of the shorts. The shorts are screened at Immagina Film School in the Italian city of Florence.
